We had a great Christmas Program here in New Gretna last Wednesday evening. A Christmas Concert was held in the Elementary School, followed by a Tree Lighting Ceremony and Carol Sing in front of the school which ended with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and one of Santa's Elves arriving by fire engine. Afterwards refreshments were served in the gym where Santa and Mrs. Claus posed for pictures. A good time was had by all.
Santa and Mrs. Claus have New Gretna ties. I won't mention names, but one owns Allen's Dock and the other has donated many family photos to this blog. Her first name rhymes with turtle. Can you guess who they are? - Pete S.
