If doctors had no college education, what type of preparation did pharmacists have? Or was it also mostly voodoo medicine there too. It both amuses me and gives me the horrors to think that all those "elixiers" that cured everything were mostly alcohol. Just look at an old Sears catalog to see some of the things that were sold in the name of health. Thanks for the statistics to shake our heads at.
