The slowing down of our present economy has created an adverse situation in the housing market. Houses just aren't selling.

    Hi Pete,

    What a coincidence. Your blog story on Mystic Island coincided with a conversation I had with a fellow senior citizen in a barber shop on Radio Road just days earlier. This man was one of the first residents in the new development. He recalled that in the early days someone from the Atlantic City area kept several live porpoises in one of the lagoons, and folks could pay to see them. Apparently it was a popular local attraction, but it lasted for only a few years. Perhaps one of the blog mates can shed additional light on the subject.

    I'm always amazed that people post pictures of old ephemera which calls the development Mystic Islands, plural, but then they continue to refer to it as Island. Am I the only holdout who still calls it Mystic Islands?

    Always was and will be Mystic islands to me. My parents were original owners in 1966 @ 91-3 W Mullica. I would love to buy back my family home
